Birmingham and West Midlands Ladies visit Lincoln City Women at Ashby Avenue on Sunday.
The visitors finished third in the FA Women's National League last season.
Eight different players have already found the back of the net this season for the visitors, thanks to a high-scoring 8-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers in the Determining Round of the FAWNL Cup.
Recent Form
Birmingham sit seventh in the league after three games, one point ahead of the Imps. They started the season with an impressive 5-1 victory when they travelled to face The New Saints.
Two weeks later they faced Long Eaton at home and lost 3-1. When facing Bedworth United away mid-week, they left with a 2-2 draw, scoring in the 92nd minute to take one point.
Lincoln have three points from three games, beating Bedworth United but losing to Wolves and Leicester United.
Previous Meetings
The two teams met three times last season, twice in the league and once in the league cup.
Early in the season, BWM gained two 2-1 victories due to late goals. They knocked Lincoln (then Nettleham Ladies) out of the National League Cup back in September when visiting Mulsanne Park. This away victory came just one week after their home 2-1 win in the league.
In December, four goals in the first hour of the game saw BWM take the three points with a 4-0 victory at Mulsanne Park.
Who to watch
Tanya Dickinson signed for Birmingham and West Midlands this summer, leaving behind Wolves after just one season. The midfielder has scored two goals in three appearances for her new team.
Dickinson began her footballing career at Lincoln Ladies, progressing through the Youth system and earning her place in the first team.
The game will take place on Sunday 8th, 2pm at Ashby Avenue.
