Lincoln City Women kick off the 2021-22 season away at Sporting Khalsa.
The two teams haven't met since November 2019, when the Imps left the Aspray Arena with a 4-0 victory. A week prior, they knocked the hosts out of the FA Cup in the Third Round Qualifying.
With a much-changed squad to the group who visited Khalsa two seasons ago, the challenge will be a completely new one.
Recent form
The Imps have had an incredible testing pre-season. Whilst the score lines haven't looked positive, manager Lee Mitchell has learned a lot about his team.
Sporting Khalsa have been very secretive about their pre-season results. With the exception of Derby County, the team look to have only faced teams in Tier 3 and below.
The only indication of recent form comes for the tweets of Khalsa staff.
Head to head

28/10/19 Sporting Khalsa 1 -3 Lincoln City
Who to watch
Lauren Walker was the team's top scorer in the short 2020-21 season. In her three appearances, she scored four goals. Walker moved up from Development for First Team a season prior, scoring 15 goals in 17 appearances across the two teams.
Stacey Garnham and Chloe Handy were both awarded with the Opposition Player of the Match title twice over the six games Khalsa played in the 2020-21 season.
